Le Conquet, Point des Renards.

The Pointe des Renards lies at the south side of the harbour and was partly in the past a Military Marine Station. Now a days it is all open and the office and living quarters are reused. The German bunkers at the Marine Station were after the war also reused by the military; traces of modification are clearly visible.
Some of the bunkers belonging to the Stützpunkt Panzerwerk Kerlohic are situated outside the former Marine Station. The very nice 634 lies on private property of the beautiful house at the north side slope. If you go towards the house when the gates is open, the people here are willing to show you around. We where invited for a visit into the 634 and also the 628 we would like to enter but "the key was lost
..!" So we were not able to get inside. The beautiful house on top is extended by the German as the owner told us. The part at the left side of house is German and the former terrace at the front side is closed as well.
An other bunker lies at the other side of the public road, called Route Touristique between some houses. We where not able to see it clearly or to come closer.
At the beach at the north side along the Route de Portez, you can still see a piece of the antitank wall that closed the beach entrance.
